Who we are

At David Porter Consulting, we bring over 30 years of experience in the building industry to every project. Founded by David Porter, a licensed builder and trade-qualified carpenter, the consultancy builds on practical experience in the residential, commercial, and local Government sectors.

David previously led Addington Construction Pty Ltd, an award-winning company recognised by the Housing Industry Association and the Australian Institute of Architects, with projects featured in “Another 100 of the World’s Best Homes.”

The consultancy combines practical site knowledge with expertise in estimating, project management, and client liaison. We work closely with architects, engineers, councils, and owners to deliver projects efficiently and to a high standard.

With proven systems for safety, compliance, and quality, we focus on practical solutions that achieve successful outcomes for all stakeholders.
